Matt McCoy - Chapter President
Matt McCoy has been working in project management for eight years and is currently Special Projects Manager at Liberty Mutual Insurance. He holds an MBA in Operations and Technology Management from the University of Portland and a BA in Foreign Languages and Literature from the University of Idaho. Matt’s varied background includes digital marketing, Six Sigma consulting and currently focuses on Lean and process improvement.
Outside of work Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and three-year-old son, home brewing beer, sailing Lake Coeur d’Alene, and attempting to keep up a running regimen.
Marci Gannon - VP of Operations
Marci Gannon, PMP and PMP-ACP, has been working in project management for ten years and is currently Manager – Project Management at STCU. Marci has recently obtained her PMP certification, completed a credit union management program at Western CUNA Management School and completed her Master of Art degree in Organizational leadership at Gonzaga University which have all enhanced her ability to understand people and teams, maintain professional and technical knowledge and thrive on new challenges, growth, efficiencies and process improvement.
She currently leads a self-managing, high performing team of project managers and contributes to the oversight of the credit union’s project management office and resource management, procedures and templates, project collaboration and portfolio management and training and support. When not working, Marci enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, son and two dogs, most specifically outdoors, hiking and running.
John Stenbeck - VP of Programs
John G. Stenbeck, PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, CSP, is the Founder of GR8PM, Inc. (pronounced “Great PM”). John is the best-selling author of “PMI-ACP®and Certified Scrum Professional Exam Prep and Desk Reference” and also “Agile Government Contracting”. He has a combined background in Accounting, Operations and I.T.
He was the VP Professional Development and then President of PMI-San Diego Chapter before relocating to Spokane (to be near his first grandchild!).
Toni Woodbridge – VP of Membership Candidate
Toni Woodbridge is a Project Manager at STCU. She has been working in projects for 12 years, in the areas of Marketing, IT and Operations.
Toni graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Degree in Organizational Communication and Public Relations in 2004. She received her Project Management Professional certification in July of 2013 and obtained her Certified Scrum Master certification in June of 2016. As the VP of Membership for the PMIINW Chapter, she is excited to get to know our members better and support them wherever she can.
In her free time, she likes to spend time with her Husband cheering on their favorite football team, watch their Son play football and Daughter dance.
Cheryl Craig - VP of Education
Cheryl Craig has been a member of the Inland Northwest Chapter of PMI since 2004 and obtained her PMP in 2006. She started her project management career in 1999 at Getronics (formally ISC, Olivetti, Wang) managing projects for one of the top tier financial institutions in the country. Her passion is bringing a team together to help a customer meet their business objectives through technology. Currently she works at Next IT managing multiple projects and customer accounts, primarily in the government sector.
Cheryl previously held the position of Treasurer on the board. Five years ago a small team of members and Cheryl met to talk about putting on the first annual PDD for the chapter, which included an agile certification course. This event has grown from 66 attendees to 120 attendees last year and has been well received by PMI members. It has been great to see this event grow into the success that it has.
With the experience she has had with the PDD and working on the board the VP of Education would be a great fit for her skills.
Holly Clausen - VP of Finance
Holly Clausen has been managing IT projects for over 30 years. She learned her project management skills through her experience as a college IT director, a music director, and a state bureaucrat. As the current Vice President of Finance, Holly serves on the Board of Directors and oversees the management of funds for duly authorized purposes of PMIINW.
Deborah Dickerson - VP of Marketing
Deborah Dickerson has had a digital marketing and IT consulting business for the past 3 years. She has worked with small businesses in the Spokane and Sandpoint area crafting and executing their digital marketing strategy. This includes website development, social media, blogging and email marketing. She has been involved in project management for almost 20 years across many industries and has been a certified PMP since 2004. Deborah has an MBA in sustainable business and lives in Sandpoint, Idaho.
She has created and executed social media strategies utilizing Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter and has developed and maintained websites on a variety of platforms including WordPress, Weebly and Squarespace. Deborah has managed a variety of budgets for projects, IT departments and smaller organizations such as homeowners, has written blogs posting on a variety of social media. Deborah is committed to continually learning this digital marketplace as it is ever changing.
