ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Mark Taylor comes to us from Oro Valley, Arizona, following a prestigious career in healthcare management, most recently serving as Interim President and CEO of St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho. Mark is a dynamic and engaging presenter with previous positions held as:
• President and Chief Executive Officer of Columbia St. Mary’s in Milwaukee, WI
• President and CEO of Genesys Health System in Grand Blanc, Michigan
• President and CEO of St. John Hospital & Medical Center in Detroit and its 96-bed community hospital. Executive leader of all cardiovascular programs for the entire St. John Providence Health System, which is also a member of Ascension Health.
Taylor earned his doctoral degree in Health Administration at Central Michigan University, master’s degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan and his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from Hillsdale College in Michigan. He is a Fellow of the esteemed American College of Healthcare Executives.
Mark has been published numerous times and received many awards (Missouri Quality Award, Facet of Excellent Award for Strategic Planning, Excellence in Missouri Foundation and the Baldridge National Award).
Mark’s wife, Beth, is a nurse working for the Veterans Administration. They have three grown children and three grandsons. Mark and Beth live near Tucson and enjoy hiking, horseback riding, and travel.
